About Design Honcheaux

Hi, I’m Mike Holtz…
a father, husband, retired veteran, fidgety meditator and artist. Design Honcheaux showcases my journey of creativity, healing, and self-expression.

After getting involved with the Wichita VA Art Therapy program in 2024, art slowly transitioned from being a hidden passion, to becoming a powerful outlet for managing my stress while sharing joy with others.  Today, that same creative energy drives every painting in my growing portfolio.

Here you’ll find fun creations, thoughtful storytelling, and a unique artistic perspective shaped by military service, self-compassion, and anchored by my new home in Wichita and my roots in South Louisiana.

Whether you’re exploring original works, seeking a custom design, or looking for a special gift, Design Honcheaux delivers art that carries meaning, emotion, fun, and authenticity. Thank you for supporting the mission behind the work.
