I’m Mike…a father, husband, retired veteran, fidgety meditator and artist. Design Honcheaux showcases my journey of creativity, healing, and self-expression.
After seeking help from the VA Art Therapy program in 2024, art slowly transitioned from being a hidden passion, to becoming a powerful outlet for managing my service-connected disabilities. Today, that same creative energy drives every illustration, sculpture, and painting in my growing portfolio.
Here you’ll find fun creations, thoughtful storytelling, and a unique artistic perspective shaped by military service, self-compassion, and anchored by my new home in Wichita, Kansas and my roots in South Louisiana.
